Camp Samburu

In Camp Samburu, you are guaranteed to have lively and joyful days. Here, you will stay with a view of over 50 popular baboons who play and tumble around all day long. There will be plenty of monkey business to bring smiles to both children and adults, and you’ll definitely take home some great stories. The curious baboons, with their little ones on their backs, come up close to greet their new neighbors in the tents. Will it be you?

When the park closes to day visitors, you’ll have the park all to yourselves, and you’ll have even more wild experiences during the evening. Feel free to ask questions when the evening host shares information about the animals at your camp, or visit the elephant stables, Museum, of Evolution and the Dinosaur Forest. It doesn’t get any wilder than this.

In case of extreme weather conditions, periods of low temperatures, illness within the animal groups, or other acute situations, it may happen that some animals are not out in the large areas.

The price includes access to the safari park for two days for six people, accommodation in the Knuthenborg Camp, evening experiences, and final cleaning.

About the camp

In the luxury safari tents, there is room for six guests, and the tents include both a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as a large veranda at eye level with the animals. Save time on cooking and purchase delicious organic food made from local ingredients for your stay. It is also possible to add child-friendly options and 2 tasty desserts to complete your dinner. All ordered meal packages will be delivered to your tent on the day of arrival and only require light preparation on the grill or in the tent’s kitchen before serving.
