Smålandshuset

Imagine waking up to the view of the Smålandshavet, with llamas grazing on the horizon. You can do this from our newest, and also oldest addition to Knuthenborg Camp: Our unique miniature renaissance castle Smålandshuset, located on the edge of Bandholmmarken! Here you have a view of our large herds of llamas, Shetland ponies and zebu cattle. When you go outside, you can enjoy the large and lovely garden with its picnic tables and fireplace, or go for a cycle ride through the park on the house bicycles.

About the house
The property is 57 m2, has room for four guests and has a living room with a dining area and a log burner, a kitchen and a bathroom, as well as two bedrooms and a large garden surrounded by Knuthenborg’s old trees. The house was built in 1868 as a miniature renaissance castle.

Save time cooking and buy delicious, home-made and sustainable food made from local ingredients for your stay. We offer barbecue and breakfast boxes. The meal boxes are not yet available for booking for the 2022 season.
