Planteurhusene
When you stay in one of Planteurhusene, you are surrounded by idyllic nature and complete tranquility in the historic houses that were once inhabited by the park's former planters and foresters. As you step out into the garden, you'll find a cozy lounge area with picnic tables and a fire pit. If you feel like exploring the park, you can also take a bike ride on the bicycles available at Planteurhusene. You must bring your own helmets. You need to be back at the house by closing time - 5 PM in the off-season, 6 PM in the high season.
About the houses
Planteurhuset located in the South is built on one level, while Planteurhuset in the North is built on two levels. Both residences can accommodate four guests and include a kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. The houses were built in 1872 and feature an English-inspired architectural style.
The houses are located on the edge of the park and do not have the same evening access to nighttime experiences in the park as the tents and cabins in Knuthenborg Camp.
