Spring Campaign - Stay overnight in Knuthenborg

In all our camps you will find a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen utensils, refrigerator, electric hobs, toaster and kettle. You will also find soft pillows and warm duvets - linen can be purchased, so you do not have to bring anything from home. The camp includes toilet paper, kitchen roll, dishcloths and tea towels as well as hand and dish soap. The camps can accommodate up to 6 people. The houses can accommodate up to 4 people. There is also a high chair and travel cot in all camps - bring your own linen and duvet for this.

There will be heaters in each camp. Are you sleeping in a tent? The heater cannot heat the non-insulated tent - but they just take the top off the cold. Thus, it may be a good idea with pajamas, thick socks or slippers if you come spring or autumn. There are fleece blankets in the tent, but if you have room in the car, a thick blanket from home can be nice. There will always be animals out in the area where you are going to stay overnight. Our animals have plenty of space to walk on, and they can decide for themselves where in the facility/plain they want to stay. In the summer season, all our animals are outside around the clock. In case of e.g. violent weather, in periods of low temperatures, in case of illness in the herds or other acute situations, it may happen that some animals are not out in the large area. That a certain animal is not out does not entitle to a discount on the stay.

Knuthenborg after closing time is an experience in itself. When the last day guest has driven out of the park, you have it all to yourself. Explore the Dinosaur Forest, experience the elephants in their stable and learn more about skin and bones for our special evening presentations. Our skilled evening hosts take you behind the scenes when you can get to have zebra skin and elephant bones in your hands. The evening presentations take place in the park's Orangery and in the large Wolf Hut.

With us you will find three different kinds of units: Cabins, tents and houses. Our cozy cabins are located in the areas by the Tiger Forest and the Wolf Forest. Here you can sleep by a large panoramic window that is 4 cm. thick - the animals can hardly get closer. You can sleep up to 6 people in our cabins. Our safari tents are unique and are located in the areas by the beautiful Elephant Plain, the lively Monkey Forest and by the large Savannah. From the spacious terrace you can enjoy your meals or evening coffee right out to the trunk or curious giraffes. You can sleep up to 6 people in our tents. The atmospheric, historical houses give you a special overnight experience. You get a part of the park for yourself, where you can enjoy the small authentic castles that once belonged to the castle staff. You can sleep up to 4 people in the houses.
