Camp Ruaha

Each tent has a kitchen with a small fridge, hot plates, a toaster, and an electric kettle.
There are pots, a pan, and utensils for preparing a simple meal, as well as plates, wine and water glasses, cutlery, platters, and serving dishes. Additionally, there is salt and pepper for cooking.

We provide a dish brush and detergent, 2 dish towels and a cleaning cloth, as well as paper towels.

Each tent has its own toilet and shower, where we provide toilet paper, hand soap, and a towel.

When you book a stay at Knuthenborg Camp, it includes admission to the safari park on both the day of arrival and departure (as well as the days in between if you book multiple nights), accommodation at Knuthenborg Camp, evening experiences, electricity, water, and final cleaning for up to 6 people per tent.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to experience the park on your own in the evening, and get an even wilder experience when the park closes to day visitors.

I can accommodate up to 6 people in a tent. The tents are approved by the fire authorities for 6 people, and therefore it is not allowed to have more regardless of the participants' age. Here we count 'heads' - not age.

When you stay at Camp Ruaha, you have a fantastic view of Northern Europe's largest elephant enclosure. In front of the large veranda, you can experience 4 retired circus elephants and a group of zebras that love to run.

In cases such as severe weather, during periods of low temperatures, illness in the herds, or other acute situations, it may happen that some animals are not out on Elefantsletten.
